The interior and facade design project of the DREAM HOUSE residential building located in Santa Monica was entrusted to us in 2018. We tried to create a specific scenario from the outside to the inside while complying with the requirements and technical rules of the Santa Monica municipality in both the interior and exterior parts. In the interior part, we tried to face the problem according to the definitions and characters of different spaces. In the external part, we tried to use the cold color of concrete while maintaining the volume purity. The vertical wooden grooves created a contrast between the outside and the inside and a kind of invitation for the audience to enter the space
